I am a mom of seven children, a wife of one husband, and a woman of many–okay, some–interests.  I love Jane Austen, Eugene Peterson, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Hot Tamales.  And sewing. And other stuff.  You’ll have to keep reading to find out what all that entails.

Also:  yes, you read that right.  Seven children.  All from one marriage.  And no, we are not Mormon or Catholic; just sexy Presbyterians, as my friend Brookie would say.

Why “Absolutely Speechless”?  It references the movie Emma; Miss Bates, the talkative “old maid”, says to Mr. Elton, the pastor, regarding his sermon:  ”It left us speechless, quite speechless I tell you, and we have not stopped talking of it since.”
